Our Statement on Services Provided
Our role is to provide you with the best insurance value that combines coverage, service and price. We also provide personalized, quality service that includes professional insurance advice, ongoing policy maintenance and claims support. When any issue arises regarding your insurance coverage, we are your advocate, using our professional experience to best represent your individual interest.
Our Statement on Broker Compensation
Brokerage compensation is part of your insurance premium. For your benefit, we have listed below insurers that we represent and have included the range of compensation each provides as a percentage of your overall premium that appears on your invoice.

Intact Insurance [20 – 35]%
Liberty Mutual Insurance Company [20 – 35]%
This commission percentage is paid annually for both new business and renewals. Should there be an increase in the commission schedule we receive from your insurer, or, any other material change that affects compensation arrangements, we will notify you.
Our Statement on Broker Contingent (Profit) Commission
In order for us to maintain strong relationships with quality insurers, we work with each to provide the type of business they desire. The insurers with an asterisk (*) noted above recognize our efforts through a Contingent Commission contract. Payment of this Contingent Commission depends on profitability (loss ratio). Our Statement on Ownership and Financial Links
Aviva Insurance Company of Canada is a minority shareholder of Westmount Guarantee Services Inc. We DO NOT have any loans from an insurance company nor do we have commitments or special arrangements to maintain or increase insurance premiums with any insurer.
Our disclosure statement is updated annually and is made in the best interest of consumers. We encourage you to also consult the commitments made by individual companies and related associations by consulting their websites or accessing other available sources.
DISCLOSURE OF ONE MARKET EXCEPTIONS
Westmount is contracted through various insurers as outline in our disclosure statement. At times, we may place client policy coverage with one market and we understand and disclose that you as a client may view this as a lack of choice.
